The Remote Control Unit VR81 has two possible functions:
In a single-zone heating system, the VR81 will be installed on the wall inside your living area while the Weather Compensator VRC470 remains in the boiler fascia.
When used with a 2-zone heating system the VR81 would become the room thermostat for the second heating zone while the Weather Compensator VRC470 or VRC470f would act as room thermostat for the first heating zone.
