Used predominently internally, C-Tec CT1 Clear is an odourless, fast curing sealant and high strength construction construction adhesive with the ability to seal and bond on a wide range of materials including concrete, glass, mirror, metal, wood, plastics and many more.
CT1 Clear’s TRIBRID® formula has made this sealant 360% stronger with 250% more elongation than traditional hybrid polymers, providing a solid, non-porous cure that doesn’t shrink or crack (In tests carried out under BS EN ISO 8339:2005).
CT1 Clear delivers a watertight seal that can be used in a range of applications inside the home, even on wet surfaces.
CT1 Clear provides amazing colour retention, offers resistance to UV light, is 1a00% eco compliant, nona-toxic and contains no isocyanates or solvents. Its non-porous characteristics means bacteria and microbes cannot penetrate the cured surface eliminating potentially harmful mould and fungus.
CT1 will successfully bond:

- Mirrors
- All woods
- MDF
- Polystyrene
- Fibreglass
- Tiles
- Concrete
- Brick
- Most stones (without staining)
- Most synthetic materials
- Plastics (excluding PP, PE and PTFE)
CT1 is not suitable for use with materials containing:
- Polyethylene (PE)
- Polypropylene (PP)
- Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)
On powder coated aluminium advice should be sought from the manufacturer of the powder coating on the suitability of their product to accept adhesives bonding to the surface layer.
