This 250g tub of soft-setting, non-toxic thread sealant is designed to provide a reliable, long-lasting seal on threaded connections in both potable water and mains gas installations. Its non-petroleum formulation is WRAS approved for use on cold potable water systems and is suitable for registered gas installations, meeting the requirements of BS751-2:1997 for Class A, ARp and Class B thread sealing applications.
Easy to apply and brushable, the sealant remains workable across a wide temperature range from -45°C to +260°C. It delivers excellent performance under demanding conditions, with a maximum working pressure of 10,000 psi for liquids and 2,000 psi for gases.
Suitable for use on a variety of materials including steel, aluminium, brass, copper, polythene, reinforced fibreglass and PVC, this versatile sealant is ideal for professional plumbing and gas installation work. Not suitable for use with ABS, oxygen systems, powerful oxidants, or systems containing concentrated acids or alkalis.
