LA-CO Regular Soldering Flux Paste is a professional-grade, water-soluble flux designed to help produce clean, reliable soldered joints on copper pipe and fittings. Its self-cleaning formulation works as it solders, helping to remove impurities from the joint and allowing solder to flow smoothly for efficient installation.
The water-soluble formula can be easily flushed from pipework after soldering and is suitable for use with hot and cold potable water, heating and gas services. The non-acid formulation is designed to minimise the risk of corrosion and is suitable for use with lead-free and common soft solders.
LA-CO Regular Flux is suitable for use on copper, brass, galvanised iron, lead, zinc, tin, silver, nickel, mild steel, terne plate and malleable iron. It should not be used on stainless steel or aluminium. The all-weather formulation provides reliable performance in a range of working conditions and meets ASTM B813.
Supplied in a 60g container, this compact size is ideal for keeping in a tool bag or van for smaller plumbing and heating jobs. Also available in 125g and 475g sizes to suit larger and more frequent applications.
